Adobe Firefly is Adobe’s generative AI, and its biggest strength is where it lives: inside Creative Cloud, next to Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator and Express, with one pool of generative credits across them. Blooper is not a design suite. It is a production agent for video, from brief to cut.

Models

As of October 2026, Firefly offers Adobe’s own Firefly models, including Firefly Image Model 5, and more than 30 partner models. Adobe’s April 2026 list included Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, Runway Gen-4.5, Luma Ray3.14, Nano Banana 2 and FLUX.2.

Veo 3.1 and Kling 3.0 are in Blooper too. Adobe’s own models, Runway’s and Luma’s are not. Blooper’s full list, each model with its price, is on our pricing page.

Rights

This is where Adobe has a real advantage, and it deserves a clear sentence. Adobe says its own Firefly models are commercially safe, trained on licensed and public-domain content, and its outputs carry Content Credentials. For partner models, Adobe says you are responsible for judging whether the content is appropriate, and its IP indemnity is for eligible enterprise customers.

Blooper does not train a model; every model in it belongs to another lab. If your legal team requires models trained only on licensed content, Firefly’s own models answer that question directly.

How a project runs

Firefly gives you Boards, an infinite canvas for moodboards and storyboards, a browser video editor in beta with a timeline, and generation inside the Adobe apps you already use.

Blooper works the way a production does. You write a brief in plain words, the way you would brief a crew. It asks the one question that would otherwise cost a day of wrong shots. It shows you stills to judge, and only the frames you keep become clips, in the order of the cut. When the client writes back on a frame, the shots that note touches update, and the earlier versions are kept. Every file shows what it was made from.

Pricing

Firefly sells monthly plans with generative credits. As of October 2026, in the US: a free plan with limited generations, Standard at $9.99 a month with 2,000 credits, Pro at $19.99 with 4,000, Pro Plus at $49.99 with 10,000, and Premium at $199.99 with 50,000. Adobe says credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over.

Blooper has no subscription. You buy prepaid credits, one credit is one cent, and they never expire. Every model’s price is published before you start, so you can draft on a cheap model and spend more only on the take you keep.

Teams

Firefly lets teammates work together in Boards, and Adobe sells enterprise plans. In Blooper, credits belong to the team, so one purchase covers everyone, and guests can be invited to comment on a project.

Memory

Firefly’s Custom Models, in public beta, learn a style or a character from your own images. Blooper’s creative memory is about how you work rather than how one image looks: short notes and rules about you, your team and each client, which the agent reads before it plans a shot. A client’s house colour stays with that client and never reaches another. Creative memory is in early access: it runs on Blooper’s own team first, and a team admin switches it on when it reaches them.

Choose Adobe Firefly if

  • your team lives in Creative Cloud and wants generation inside Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Express
