Google Flow is Google’s own filmmaking tool, and it is very good at what it is built for: putting Google’s newest video and image models in front of you at a low monthly price. Blooper uses some of the same models. Veo 3.1 and Nano Banana 2.1 are both in Blooper. The difference is everything around the model.

Models

As of October 2026, Flow offers Google’s models: Veo 3.1 in Lite, Fast and Quality versions and Gemini Omni Flash for video, and Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana 2.1 and Nano Banana 2 Lite for images. Veo 3.1 generates sound with the picture.

Blooper is not tied to one lab. Next to Veo it has Kling, Seedance, Wan and FLUX for video, and Nano Banana and Seedream for images; the full list, with every price, is on our pricing page. Some shots suit one model and some another, and the agent can choose per shot rather than per subscription. Gemini Omni Flash and the Lite and Quality tiers of Veo are in Flow and not in Blooper.

How a project runs

Flow gives you a canvas for clips. Its Scenebuilder lets you arrange, reorder and trim clips into a scene, you can save a frame and reuse it as the start of the next shot, and its agent can outline a storyboard or a mood board.

Blooper works like a production. You write the brief in plain words. It asks the one question that would otherwise cost a day of wrong shots. It shows you stills to judge, and only the frames you keep become clips, in the order of the cut. When the client writes back on a frame, the shots that note touches update, and the earlier versions are kept. Every file shows what it was made from.

Pricing

Flow’s credits come with Google AI plans. On Flow’s homepage, as of October 2026 in the US: 50 free credits a day, AI Plus at $4.99 a month with 200 credits, AI Pro at $19.99 with 1,000, and AI Ultra at $99.99 with 10,000 or $199.99 with 25,000. Google’s help pages say daily and monthly credits do not roll over. Prices vary by market.

For one person making Veo clips, that is hard to beat, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Blooper has no subscription. You buy prepaid credits, one credit is one cent, and they never expire. Every model’s price is published before you start, so a quiet month costs nothing and a busy one is not capped by a plan.

Teams

Flow’s pages describe sharing an image or a video by link. We found no team workspace, seats or shared billing there.

Blooper is built for teams and agencies. Credits belong to the team, so one purchase covers everyone, and guests can be invited to comment on a project.

Memory

Flow keeps a character’s face, clothing and voice consistent across generations, and its agent takes instructions per project.

Blooper adds creative memory across projects: short notes and rules about how you, your team and each client work, which the agent reads before it plans a shot. A client’s house colour stays with that client and never reaches another. Creative memory is in early access: it runs on Blooper’s own team first, and a team admin switches it on when it reaches them.

Watermarks

Flow marks everything it makes with Google’s invisible SynthID watermark, and in some countries adds a visible one unless you are on the top plan. Google says it does not claim ownership of what you make.

The short version

Choose Flow for a low-cost direct line to Google’s models as one creator. Choose Blooper when a team needs several models, a production that shows stills first, and a memory of each client.

Choose Blooper if

  • you want Veo next to Kling, Seedance and other models, and the agent to pick the right one per shot
  • a team or an agency shares the work, the credits and the client's notes
  • you want to pay for credits that keep, not a monthly allowance that resets

Choose Google Flow if

  • you mainly want Veo, at a low monthly price, straight from Google
  • you already pay for a Google AI plan and its credits cover your volume
  • you work alone and want a mobile app alongside the web
