Blooper vs Krea
Blooper and Krea side by side: models, pricing, teamwork and workflow. Krea is a creative AI suite; Blooper runs a video production.
Krea facts checked on 28 October 2026 on Krea’s own pages, listed below. Plans and models change often.
| Topic | Blooper | Krea |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | An AI production agent. You brief it like a crew, it asks first, shows stills, then makes the clips and the cut. | A creative AI suite: image and video generation, real-time tools, an upscaler, model training, nodes and an agent. |
| Models | Other labs' models: FLUX 3 Video, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.5, Veo 3.1 and Wan 3.0 for video; Nano Banana 2.1 and Seedream 5.0 for images. | Its own Krea models plus many others' for video, such as Veo 3.1, Kling, Seedance 2.5, Runway Gen-4.5, Wan 3.0 and LTX-2.5. |
| How you pay | Prepaid credits, no subscription. Packs of $25, $100 and $250, or any amount from $10. Credits never expire. | Plans with compute units: Basic $9 and Pro $35 a month, Max sized by a slider ($105 by default), less billed yearly; 100 free units a day. |
| Unused credits | Never expire. | Basic, Pro and Max units do not roll over; compute packs expire after 90 days. |
| Teams | One credit balance for the whole team. Guests can be invited to comment on a project. | Business plan sized by compute ($200 a month by default), flat for up to 50 seats, with shared workspaces, a shared compute pool and admin roles. |
| Workflow | Stills first: frames to judge before anything moves. Versions are kept, and every file shows what it was made from. | Tools you combine: Nodes, Realtime, an image editor, an upscaler to 22K, plugins for Photoshop, Premiere and Resolve. |
| Memory | Creative memory (early access): notes and rules about you, your team and each client, read before every shot. | Elements, moodboards, LoRA training, and an agent context library with shared brand context. |
Krea calls itself the world’s most powerful creative AI suite, and its range is wide: image and video generation, real-time tools, an upscaler to 22K, training your own models, node workflows, an agent, and plugins for the Adobe apps and DaVinci Resolve. Blooper is narrower on purpose. It does one thing: run a video production from brief to cut.
Models
As of October 2026, Krea offers its own Krea models and a long list of other labs’ video models, including Veo 3.1, Kling, Seedance 2.5, Runway Gen-4.5, Wan 3.0, LTX-2.5 and MiniMax. That list is longer than Blooper’s.
Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0 are in Blooper too. Runway’s and LTX’s models are not. Blooper’s full list, each model with its price, is on our pricing page.
How a project runs
Krea is a toolkit. You combine its tools the way a designer combines layers: generate, edit, upscale, restyle, train a LoRA for a look, wire steps together in Nodes. For artists and designers who like to work hands-on, that freedom is the point, and its plugins put it inside the apps they already use.
Blooper works the way a production does. You write a brief in plain words, the way you would brief a crew. It asks the one question that would otherwise cost a day of wrong shots. It shows you stills to judge, and only the frames you keep become clips, in the order of the cut. When the client writes back on a frame, the shots that note touches update, and the earlier versions are kept. Every file shows what it was made from.
Pricing
Krea sells plans with compute units. As of October 2026: 100 free units a day, Basic at $9 a month, Pro at $35, and Max, sized by a slider, at $105 by default, each less billed yearly. Units on Basic, Pro and Max do not roll over, and compute packs expire after 90 days. Krea’s pricing lists a commercial licence on every plan.
Blooper has no subscription. You buy prepaid credits, one credit is one cent, and they never expire. Every model’s price is published before you start, so you can draft on a cheap model and spend more only on the take you keep.
Teams
Krea’s Business plan is sized by compute, $200 a month by default, and flat for up to 50 seats, with shared workspaces, a shared compute pool, admin roles and model-access controls; Enterprise adds SAML SSO.
In Blooper, credits belong to the team with no seat price, so one purchase covers everyone, and guests can be invited to comment on a project.
Memory
Krea keeps a look consistent with Elements, moodboards and LoRA training, and its agent has a context library with shared brand context. Blooper adds creative memory across projects: short notes and rules about how you, your team and each client work, which the agent reads before it plans a shot. A client’s rules stay with that client and never reach another. Creative memory is in early access: it runs on Blooper’s own team first, and a team admin switches it on when it reaches them.
